@matttissley a fake account pretending to have cancer and spamming celebs for attention

Update: after lots of tweets from angry people not believing him, “Matt” tweeted on July 8 that he was “cancer free”. The whole account has been nothing but lies all along who knows what the person running the account is planning to do now.

There is an account on Twitter that has 6,000 followers the person running it is pretending to be a young boy with cancer. The account gets lots of attention, RT’s and favorites.

Here is how the person running it is able to trick 1000’s of people.

“He” (we have no idea who is actually behind the account) was using pictures of real little boys who had cancer and were bald.

This was the picture “he” was using for a while. The real boy live in Australia.
When he was “caught” this was his reply

He claimed that his family met this boy but the real child’s family has never met anyone from this fakers family and doesn’t like knowing that their picture was used .. Misused in this way
click to see what the real boys family says about this account

He then changed his pic to this boy:

Well, the problem with using this pic is, this young man passed away at the age of 13.

He has now changed his pic to a yellow ribbon.

The other thing this account does is only follow verified accounts. All the people he follows are public figures like celebrities and sports figures and media sites!

So what this person does is log on to twitter a few times a day, check which verified accounts are tweeting and then he spams them with the same message.

He claims he “wants to share his story” the way to do that would be a website or blog .. He has neither.

This “share his story” is a trick to get celebs, sports people to follow him.

He asks them to follow him so he can DM his story, people can only DM each other if they follow each other.

I have actually tweeted with people he’s tricked and found out he never DMs people “his story” or emails them if they give him they email.

All he cares about is the attention and followers.

I hope this explains this crazy account! My aunt died of cancer last year and I have a friend who is VERY sick.

This is why I have NO patience or tolerance for this account and accounts like it. There have been several ..

This account is the most successful and hardest to take down which is my goal!!

Follow me on Twitter @alexirob I expose fakes and posers on Twitter and help people meet celebs .. With tips and an event website!

How to make a collage header for Twitter

The look of your Twitter account is pretty important! It shows your followers what you care about!
It might be your idol, favorite music group, sport, tv shows. People might decide whether or not to follow you based on the look of your account! What does your header tell people about you?

Headers don’t show up on some mobile apps but does on the iPads and desktops.

Here’s mine:

Here’s one way you can make one like it!

1. Download Pic Frame

2. Choose the 2×2 frame choice – there is also a 3×3 — we will be using 2 of these side by side. So you will either have 8 or 18 pics.

You can also use other frames to make a collage then put a collage in one frame-

3. Pick your 4 or 9 pics

4. Save this pic by taking a screen cap or saving in your photo library.

5. Then choose more pics.

6. You may like borders or not. Use the style button and slide the width bar to choose no border

7. Save this picture too.

Then choose one more frame and put your two pictures in it!

There you go! You should have a pretty cool header now to personalize your account!

Another Faker @stjudetara pretending to be 19 yr old cancer patient

As my friends and followers know my aunt Patti has cancer. She may not live very long and watching her suffer is horrible. She tries to be strong and brave but no one wants to die and leave loved ones behind. She has a 19 yr old daughter, who is my cousin.

When someone on Twitter is pretending to have a disease to get attention it upsets my family and me. We are NOT afraid to question them if their story sounds suspicious or expose them if we have proof!

Earlier this week @gaystraightlive pretended to have cancer and be in the Memphis St Jude Hospital but my followers helped me out and we tracked down all her pictures from other sites! She deleted after I posted a blog here.

Today I got a tweet that said follow @stjudetara she has cancer and needs support. I checked her bio:

2 things caught my attention
1. St Judes is a Children’s Hospital a 19 yr old is an adult.
2. Who “lives” in a hospital?

I tweeted her and she replied I said something like the bill would be really high. She said:

I said how could she be there if she’s 19? She said:

Not at a Children’s Hospital.

I asked why she lived ther she said:

Nobody has chemotherapy everyday! It’s strong medication that is really hard on your body!

Also, she has posted pics that made her look real

But they were all stolen from a blog from a girl named Allison

It seems like she had fooled a lot of people and was even trying to get Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber to notice her.

This makes me SO sad that people Are lying and faking having cancer just to get attention on line. It’s really sad. Most people in Twitter are really sweet and want to help. These people are counting on that!
If they would use their energy to raise money to help cure diseases they would make the world a better place!

Thanks @st0p_posers for helping by finding the blog she was stealing from!

Sorry to write another blog about a negative topic but I will always work to expose these fakers! It’s disrespectful to the brave people who are sick and their loving, supportive families!

A sad story of @gaystraightlive someone using twitter to lie about having cancer 

Go straight to the bottom for PROOF this was a hoax! 

The day after this was written “Jenny” deleted her Twitter account without any explanation.

People suffer from terrible diseases and each one of us has probably lost someone in our life to cancer or another life threatening illness. Personally, my aunt is very
Ill with cancer. Sometimes the treatment is worse than the disease. She has neuropathy from her chemotherapy, she’s bald, she’s sad and scared. Sometimes she’s too sick for chemotherapy and then she’s scared the cancer will grow faster.

Sometimes people on Twitter lie about having a disease, getting injured or being suicidal only to get attention and followers! Most times it’s easy to spot posers! They make mistakes like posting a pic from Google Images or lying and getting caught.

Lately, there has been a person saying she was sick and everyone including my mom and I believed her. Now we are doubting it. We even have Twitter friends who got suspicious too.

This person has been tweeting two celebs a LOT. Both celebs are super sweet and really worried about her.

This person has done a lot of research and is using big technical words about her condition but there are some problems and it’s getting harder to believe her.

One thing we noticed a LOT is her story changes quickly

I know that’s a small thing — hey how old are you? when’s your birthday ?? Oh In a couple of months — then it’s in 2 weeks —

But her “mom” tweeted this with just minutes in between

Here’s another example

Here’s another example:

How do things change so fast??

Also she had scans and ONE hour later had surgery to removed a tumor from behind her heart

Also the day she had surgery to remove a tumor from behind her heart she was trying to do a tiny chat. One day her mom tweeted this pic:

Most people, if they are that sick would be in a hospital gown, they would have heart monitors, a breathing tube, they would be look awful!!

This pic shows a younger girl check out the items by her ..

I see a coloring book and light chasers like you get at the Disney Store! Not things a 14 yr old girl would have. Also it looks like they were Christmas gifts.
Anyway odd picture!

The next day she played cards with a nurse And a girl on the ward and tweeted this pic

Update a follower reading this found this pic on a Tumbler Account!! With a caption Like Missing You! Look at the end of this post for proof it originally was on a Tumblr Post

This is odd to be up and around other patients a few days after surgery.

After the mom tweeted that Jenny was terminal and would stop therapy and go home to die “mom” tweeted this

That’s a strange reaction to finding out you will die soon. I would think you would have lots of other things to cry about!

The night she find out she was terminally I’ll mom posted this

However, Jenny got on Twitter and tweeted for about 6 hrs straight and even hosted a tiny chat

Finally people were getting so concerned because so many of us were so worried about her a few people actually called the hospital!

They live in Sugarland Texas but say they are at the St Jude’s in Tennessee

We actually expected the hospital to say “We can’t give out that information” or “that’s confidential” but the nurses were very kind and tried to find Jenny for them.

She posted a link to FaceBook pages that said here’s us. There were tons of pics of a blond girl and blond mom. When. I said “you have changed and it looks like Jen was very loved,” the “mom” said ” oh that’s my sister and my niece” !?!?

Also, the “mom” or “Jen” keeps RTing where the prayers are coming from Amy Tweet that the Aloha State is praying for you or prayers from Spain.
She also kinda brags at how Many RTs. her pics get and how many followers she has — ” haha I was hoping for one RT but I got 40!” “I just realized I don’t have 300 followers anymore!” If someone was getting followers and RTs because of dying it wouldn’t really make them happy.

I know this isn’t absolute proof but my aunt loved FaceBook but hasn’t logged on in a long time. When you are told you are dying most people don’t jump on Twitter. They talk to friends, pray, cry. It’s up to you to believe her or not. I think it’s very suspicious.
There are other things but I think these are the biggest things that are red flags!
There just isn’t proof of a 14 yr old girl who matches the profile pic being in St Judes Hosp.

Here’s another example of changing stories I had to add here. My app make added pics go to the end once a decision like putting a kid in isolation is made it’s unlikely to change in 10 minutes.

Here is the pic she used! It is a pic of a 10 yr old girl who really was sick and came home to die!!

The pic of “Lana”

@masonculp A Faker on Twitter UPDATE he’s back as @drewcook15 all these accounts were run by @mprest21 

Update 4/21 we just found out yesterday that these accounts were opened and run by a girl who’s twitter name is @mprest21

We figured she was involved because “Mason” asked a celeb to use “his cousin merest’s” email one time.

Well yesterday @mprest21 announced out of the blue that she had Lung Cancer.

Go straight to the bottom of this blog for a pic of her post. That’s how this site posts pics… Sorry they only post at the end.

She then sent a tweet to Davis Cleveland telling him she has cancer.

A person we know named Dani really has CF and has been monitoring these fake accounts with me. She was suspicious and e mailed Margaret (mprest21)

Margaret admitted she was faking it and that she was behind the other accounts.
She said she just wanted attention and felt ignored by celebs.
She hoped lying would get follows, attention and even e mails and autographs from them.

She began apologizing and deleted @drewcook15
But her apologies aren’t quite sincere. She said she set up @drewcook4 but he’s just a regular person..
see pic at bottom.

So it’s kind of sad to think this girl was using CF and cancer to lie to celebs for attention and follows. She didn’t care about people who really have this disease like our fans Maci, Caley and Dani.

She is apologizing but only because we exposed her…

I hate to say it but don’t believe anyone who tweets and says ” I have _____ follow me.”

Update: 4/15 sorry to say but this person who pretended to be a 7 yr old with Cystic Fibrosis is back on Twitter with a new name. This time “he’s” @drewcook15

I know it’s the same person because he/she is tweeting ALL the same celebs and using the same pictures of a boy named Drew with a broken arm that was stolen from a blog called life with little boys.. I’ll add the new stolen one to the bottom of the blog.

Faking having a disease to get attention from stars is wrong in so many ways! People we know who are really sick with CF are really hurt and insulted! The celebs they lie to just to get followed by are going to never know who to believe in the future.

It’s a terrible thing to do. Let @drewcook15 know we don’t want him on Twitter lying to us and faking having a disease!!

About a week ago a “7 year old boy with CF” opened a Twitter and is trying to get celebs to follow him. He’s faking and we can prove it.

If you are in a hurry go straight to the end to see where he stole the profile pics from

A while back kid star Davis Cleveland who stars as Flynn made friends with Maci Drewry a girl who battles a serious disease called cystic fibrosis. He helped her get followers, invited her to the set of Shake it up and has gotten involved in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. He has raised over $35,000 and participated in walks that raise Money to find a cure.

Here, Davis had all the guys from Shake it up join him in a walk to raise Money to find a cure for CF.

Sadly, many fakers have popped up on Twitter, using cystic fibrosis to get attention and followers.
There are many clues someone is faking.

1. No personal pic. Kids with CF have a very distinct look– they look sick!
They are small and thin for their age. Their lungs and pancreas don’t function properly so they don’t get the oxygen and nutrition they need to grow properly.

2. No details about treatments. Kids with CF have specific treatments to help with all the symptoms. I’m not posting then here unless a faker is using this blog to be a better faker!

3. All their tweets are about getting followers. Read the timeline. Here’s what you’ll see.
@______ please follow me I Have CF

@______ please follow me I Have CF

@______ please follow me I Have CF

@______ please follow me I Have CF

4. No proof kids with CF could easily say what treatments they get, know specific medical words, take pics of their meds, or themselves at the hospital.

5. They lie. Because they are faking they lie to try to “prove” they have CF or they aren’t faking and they mess up trying to keep track of the lies!

6. The first people they Tweet are Davis Cleveland and Maci Drewry. They want them to get them followers! 

So let’s check @MasonCulp s profile
First of all he days he’s 7 ! Awfully young to be tweeting all hours of the day. And “he’s” tweeting random teen celebs that no 7 yr old boy would know Austin Mahone ? Ryan Beatty ?
This is more likely a teen girl who felt ignored on Twitter with a typical account.

#1 no personal pic

Mason was using a pic of Maci, Davis and Maci’s brother Blake
Why would a 7 yr old use this pic? 

#2 people have been asking for days what treatments he’s getting! Kids with CF would have at least 5 things they would be able to mention ( I’m not saying them in case fakers are using this as a guide ) Mason finally said Albuteral

#3 all tweets are requests for follows

#4 no proof
He says he’s tweeting from his moms newer iPad but doesn’t know how to add a pic when asked to post proof of meds. Everyone knows it’s super easy to post a pic and how did he get his profile pic?

#5 they lie
One day he said he had a cousin on Twitter then denied it

So which is it ?? If he lied about this why should we believe anything else ?

#the first people the tweet are Davis and Maci

How does a 7 yr old find Davis and Maci’s twitter the first day on Twitter? Most people’s first tweets are hi Twitter! I’m new here! And they are kinda lost. This 7 yr old was tweeting, following and DMing on his first day!

So I believe this is more than enough proof. Let @MasonCulp know you don’t like him/her lying and faking about this serious Life threatening disease! It’s is totally disrespectful to the kids like Caley and Maci and families that suffer everyday with treatments, hospital visits and health scares!

@MasonCulp posted this pic

People told him he was lying that the kid was obviously a actor/model for a pic and pointed out the watermark so he deleted the pic and posted this one instead

He also tweeted thus pic of his “friends but the kids all have name tags on and the names he gives aren’t even close!

One thing I noticed today is he has a “brother” named @julianculp who’s saying ” my brother @MasonCulp has CF follow us both!”

Update this is “Mason” s profile pic

He stole it from a blog called Life with Boys and the kid’s real name is Drew.

Here’s “Julian’s” profile pic

This kid is really Jacob.

One day “Mason” forgot he was tweeting from his account and thought he was tweeting from his “Julian” account. He slipped up and tweeted

My Favorite Apps to make Twitter so fun!!

I have so much fun on Twitter and meeting celebs and have found cool apps to make it even more fun!
This blog is going to tell you all about my favorite apps, how to use them and what makes them Cool!!

1. Emoji
Emoji is a separate keyboard but instead of letters and symbols and black and white it has pictures!
These can only be seen in other I devices like iPhones, iPads, iPods,
I use them to show you how I feel  or play games like name that movie  muppets
Name that song baby
You do need to follow directions go to settings and put in emoji keyboard.

2. Camera+

My hobby is meeting celebs and sometimes you only get 1 second to take a pic with someone. If the pic is too dark, light you can use Camera + to fix it. Here is a before and after

After using camera+

It also has crops, and other features, it can take Better pics than a iPhone in many settings.

3. Photo Studio
This is just a fun photo app that can change your favorite pics in creative ways, charcoal sketch, fun house mirror, ripple and tons of other ways. I use this app to play games with my followers on Twitter. I use a pic if me with a celeb and app it! Then followers have to guess who the celeb is.
Wanna try?

That’s me with Demi Lovato!
This is a fun app that is easy to use! You can pic your favs and use them easily!

4. Watermark is a great app to have if you are getting exclusive pics of celebs and you don’t want people stealing your pics and using them on Twitter or as an icon

Here is an example of how it works

You can make your own and make it any color, font, size or angle you want .
You can see how people won’t want to steal a pic if your name is on it!

5. imikimi
It is worth it to pay $1.99 since the free version has annoying pop ups and limited frames!

This really cool and fun app let’s you make collages, calendars, and face full ins with your pics.
Here are some examples of what I’ve made with imikimi

This is called Fill in the face. I took my own pics of Bella and Zendaya and added them in to these pics

This is called a collage. You use the search and find what you want, panels, collages, fill in face, etc.

As you can see this app is really fun! You can even put yourself on the cover if a magazine.

6. IMovie
Is an app where you can quickly and easily use your pics and video to create and upload a video to You Tube, Google, an email or other places.
It’s not too fancy but easy to learn. I like that you can add titles to each pic or video and use music that is free to use so you won’t get in to a problem with copyrighted music.
If you upload a movie longer than a minute or so you need to connect to wifi.
I have several of my movies in my you tube channel alexirob

7. Snap Camera! This adds titles/words/notes to your pics or collages! You can say Happy Birthday or put Twitter names or Character names in a collage that you made in Imikimi
Examples :

8 TweeGram

It’s really cool if you like quotes or poetry. You write out a saying and have lots of options with how it could look. You can choose Typewriter, Hello Kitty, telegram then use twitpic or Instagram to share your message in a creative way

Posers, Fakers, and Haters oh My! The Dark Side of Twitter

Sorry to have you reading a blog about such negative stuff but there is a DARK side to Twitter Ijust have to share with you. I have have had a Twitter account for almost two years. I have over 10,000 followers and have read and written thousands of Tweets!
I like meeting celebrities as a fan and have been lucky enough to meet them on the job too! My mom and I use Twitter to support charities, meet new people, and help others learn how to meet celebrities. We post about any and every upcoming event we find out about!
Over the years, we have come across some crazy stuff on Twitter.
We think about 95% of people on Twitter are good, kind hearted and sweet! If you are reading this, then i bet you are one of the good guys! BUT the other 5% have issues!
Maybe their parents are divorced. Maybe their lives are really boring. Maybe they really have mental problems. Who knows? But there are people on Twitter who are doing very bad things.
The 3 we are going to talk about are:

When I tweet about these things because I think I found a poser or faker half the people say “How dare you judge them! ” What if you are wrong?” “Then you are the bully!” the other half want to know more and have tons of questions. So I can’t win on Twitter.
That’s why I’m writing this with my moms help!!

1. Posers — please know that anyone can open an account and say anything!
There are no Twitter police, no one asks for ID, no one gives fingerprints.
A person can have as many accounts as they want!

There are 3 kinds of posers:
1. Posing as another regular person
2. Posing as a celebrity account
3. Posing as an “official back up /private account.

Posing as a regular person
A forty year old man can say he is a 13 yr old girl and use a pic from the web!
A girl can say she’s a guy! A person can say anything on Twitter.

Celebrity Posers – Huge celebrities with lots of fans and posers can get Verified on Twitter. Stars like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift have verified accounts. They or their representatives have gone through a formal process and provided documents to Twitter. Some lesser known stars especially, kid stars, often aren’t verified. Often people pose as these celebrities and trick a lot of people. Skai Jackson and Caitlyn Carmichael have no Twitter.
Brenda Song and Taylor Lautner are two celebs who have posers with 1000’s of followers. Neither has Twitter!
If they did, they would be verified immediately.

Posing as a back up celeb account-
We have met over 300 celebs. We ask about their twitter and no one ever said they had a back up account.
Why would a celeb need a private account if they wanted to tweet their celeb friends they would text them!
This is just a trick posers use to get around Twitter’s system for verification.

My mom says teens like to feel special and smart. So this is why they believe that they were smart enough to find Selena or Taylor’s private account and that they are actually “chatting” with a famous person. Sorry, celebs love their fans but they don’t do this.
One helpful hint is fake private accounts tweet and follow other fake private accounts.

Signs someone is a poser:
1. No original pics just Google Images
2. They Tweet a LOT most celebs are busy with school, work, press events.
3. The cast of their show or other famous friends/family are NOT following them.

The next negative thing on Twitter are fakers
There are 4 kinds of fakers

1. People who fake having a disease.
2. People who fake attempting to kill themselves or faking actually killing themselves.
3. People who fake a death in the family.
4. People faking that they are on a new show that is coming on Disney or other channel.

People who fake having a disease-
A certain Disney celeb became friends with a girl on Twitter who had Cystic Fibrosis. He helped her get followers and when she came to LA, he visited her hotel and let her come to the set fir the day.
Shortly after, many people started tweeting that same star saying they had Cystic Fibrosis or cancer. Some posted pics of bald kids saying it was them. One person tweeted two pics of “herself” but the eyes were different colors. The person was using Google Images. One person tweeted “check my Twitter tomorrow at 2 when I announce whether or not I have cancer”
She went on and on about going to the hospital. At two she tweeted “it’s true I have cancer! Pray for me @______ celeb name and @___ celeb name.
She tweeted pics if her “treatment” they were actually pink ribbon pens in a basket!! Again a Google Image!
No one wants to doubt or question someone who is sick but there are signs someone is faking being sick.

1. They are “new” to Twitter but already have emoji’s , know how to RT block and post links.
2. The first people they Tweet is a celeb and they day they are sick right away.
3. They don’t really know about their disease. Kids who are sick grow up fast they don’t say doctor they say oncologist they know/ understand their treatment/ medicine
4. Their disease is all they talk about and they whine about it. Real sick kids are brave and tough and have real lives they like to talk about.

An important note about suicide!
This is a serious issue and we know many teens struggle with depression and thoughts of suicide.
We believe every so often one of these teens might use Twitter to talk about it and get help. But most of the tweets WE are seeing on OUR timeline seems fake. Most teens become depressed and don’t talk about their problems to anyone. They don’t want attention. They also would not want their idol Ariana, Selena or Demi to know they killed themselves. True fans wouldn’t want to make their idol sad!
Teens who are thinking about suicide need help from real people parents, teachers, relatives, friend’s parents, school staff, not other teens on Twitter and not a celeb. Instead if RTing and getting attention from a celeb – help the person by telling them to get REAL help– that is — if they really need it.

Fakers who say they are going to kill themselves– this is a sad sick new trend! There is a certain celeb who had an article published about how hard it was for her when a fan killed herself.
We noticed a HUGE increase of “suicides” in this stars fanbase the month the article came out. About two fans a day either “died” or “attempted” suicide. Most fans hearing the news on Twitter about their “family” RT’d #RIP____ and tried to spread the word, show support, let the celeb know, and get a trending topic for this “fallen victim of bullying”
The sad truth is many or most of these have been fake!!!
When you go back and read a few days back in their timelines you will see the clues!

1. No talk of bullying. The persons timeline has no hint of bullying or depression.
2. A history of trying to get attention
Some of the faker’s timelines look like this
@___ celebs name “I love you tweet me”

@______ celebs name “you notice everyone but me”

@_____ celebs name what does it take to get noticed by you

Hmm my mentions are dead..

maybe I’d be better off dead RT if you don’t think I should die

@____ celebs name I’m your biggest fan but you ignore me and everyone teases me for being your fan– it’s just too hard to go on!

@today’s my last day on Earth

@_____ celebs name sorry I wasn’t strong enough. I don’t deserve to be your fan

We have seen this and read this not exactly but many timelines like this..
Then sometimes we see this

Hi this is @____’s mom. I found her with a knife can someone help me understand what happened ??

Please know that twitter is important to me and you but a teen’s mom who found her child with a knife wouldn’t sit down and start tweeting!!

Then the timeline has this..
Hi it’s @_____ I’m back thanks for helping me and all your sweet tweets oh and I got a lot of new followers.

People faking their own suicide-
Remember people can have many accounts. Some people open one account. Then open another account and one account is a “bully account”
And one is a “victim” account.
So the tweets go back and forth and one account has an owner who “killed themselves”

Faking a death in the family.
Pretty much you can understand this.
Someone pretends that their sister/cousin someone dies tragically and wants to trend something or get celebs to RT #RIP_____
This is hard to prove unless the person is pretty dumb and messes up their story. Most people who lost a lived one wouldn’t really care about celeb’s RTs or being a Trending Topic-
The only sign would be a history of trying to get attention and not getting it.

There are a few kinds of haters
1. Real haters who hate one or a few people
2. Haters who hate everyone
3. Fake haters

I’ve had a lot of haters people get upset if they lose a fame I play with my followers, get jealous that I met their idol, get mad at me for busting them.

Twitter doesn’t really help with haters even if they cuss and threaten you. I had a guy make a you tube video with those cartoon characters saying he would take a gun and shoot my head off if he ever met me in person. The police and Twitter did nothing. They both just said block and ignore them.
That is good advice RTing and arguing with them gives them attention. That’s what they want. So think about it. I give people ONE chance because sometimes they didn’t understand something or were just bored! If they fight back then I block them.
Some haters have other regular accounts they use and just use the hate account to cause trouble.

How to get AND KEEP followers on Twitter

Hi! I’m 8 and have been on Twitter for about 2 years. I have over 10,000 followers and I know a lot of people want more followers on Twitter! This blog is going to help you! Well, I hope it is! I’ve learned a lot about getting, keeping and losing followers here on Twitter.

1. Have a cool icon/profile pic
If you have an egg you look like someone who doesn’t really care. If you aren’t sure how to upload a pic ask a friend, use Twitter support or Google it!
Oh and please ! Please! don’t take a pic of you in a bathroom mirror with a toilet behind you!

2. Have a cool bio and location!
Think of a cool quote, interesting fact about you, who you support, is God important to you? Let us know if you are a person we want to be friends with! Try not to brag. If you write “I’ve met Justin 5 times and Selena Replied to me 8 times and RTd me on 4/27/10 ”
That might not help you.

Be creative with location :

3. Be focused on who/what you support anti bullying–
Justin Bieber—
Stand for something !!
Birds of a feather flock together!
People with the same idols, interests will want to follow you!

4. Be positive — take time supporting your followers — if someone tweeted that morning they had a test — ask them about it later that day!!

5. Be fun! Play games, give shout outs,
Have follower parties! Watch a movie/ show at the same time like Pretty Little Liars tweet during it!

Ideas for Twitter Games
Guess the lyrics — if you can, get all the lyrics ahead of time save them in Notes. That way you can cut and paste to keep the game going fast!

Think up questions about tv shows, Twilight, anything
Again, think them up ahead of time and keep the game going.

Guess the celeb or album cover
I use apps to change up a pic and your followers have to guess who it is!

Give the winner a shout out and make rules you need to keep the game fair!!

6. Try to get a celebs attention. I wrote a blog on how to do that. If a celeb RTs you or replies to you, you will often get new followers who saw the celebs tweet!

7. Ask for follows! Don’t beg and don’t demand. A simple “Hey I’d love a follow I enjoy your tweets” usually works. Personally if I get a tweet that says “follow me” I ignore it.

8. Offer to follow back but nicely maybe ask your followers to RT ” I’m following back the next 10 people who follow me”

9. Keep it clean — know your followers if you are all people who cuss or tell dirty jokes then no problem but it might offend new followers.

10 No Drama– No Hate– No spam
The first one is the hardest for me to keep in mind. Some people are not comfortable with drama and will unfollow if they see it in your timeline.
If you are upset about a hater a poser or people faking a disease — think about how you deal with it — try to put a positive spin on it —
Weigh the risk if you need to vent-
Sometimes just warning your followers ahead of time will keep them following.
You can say “sorry but there is a hater /poser /new trend that’s making me crazy ”
Spam is when a person wants attention usually from a celeb and they send repeated messages constantly!

@_____ I love you please follow me 1
@_____ I love you please follow me 2
@_____ I love you please follow me 3
@_____ I love you please follow me 4

These fill your followers timeline if they follow the same celeb and many people see spamming a celeb as rude and annoying and will unfollow you.

11 Don’t DM with out a good reason. I don’t understand when I get a DM that says ” Hi ” Use regular tweets unless something is private or personal or the person isn’t answering on Twitter.

12. Don’t beg for favors, or be annoying. If a person tweets about an event or celeb , tv show, song, use Google or the links the person gives you in their tweet. Remember if 10-20 people are asking what day? Where? Is it free? It get annoying …

12 And lastly, never lie or fake an illness to get followers. It is not cool and sadly it does work. It’s just wrong and if you get caught, everyone will hate you.. So definitely not worth it!

I hope you like this blog and it helps you get and keep followers in Twitter!!

If you follow me, I play games, give shout outs SOMETIMES and have follower parties on Sundays and Wednesdays at 6 Cali time! Everyone tweets me why we should follow them, who/what they support, if they follow back and I RT these tweets for 10 min.
Everyone finds someone they want to follow and it’s a party!!!

Here’s an example of a game called guess the celeb — use an app — you can also use the celebs profile pic or album cover from ITunes

Do’s and Dont’s to get attention from Celebrities on Twitter

I’ve met a lot of Celebrities and been
On Twitter @alexirob for about 2 years. I have over 10,000 followers and many of them are celebrities. Even though I’m young I think I have some good advice about how you can get attention from a celebrity on Twitter! Most of us would love a retweet, reply or follow from our favorite celeb, but when some of them have 500,000 followers, how can you get noticed? This blog is going to help!!

1. DON’T SPAM a celebrity!
Spamming is when you send the same message again and again hoping to get noticed.
Spam looks like this.

Hi, I’m your biggest fan! Please notice me 1

Hi, I’m your biggest fan! Please notice me 2

Hi, I’m your biggest fan! Please notice me 3

Hi, I’m your biggest fan! Please notice me 4

Well you get the idea!! Spamming is bad and rude.
A. It fills up the timeline of all your followers ( who follow that celeb) and the celeb’s.
B. It makes it hard for the celeb to notice their other fans, making you look selfish.
C. A celeb annoyed with spam may just block you or ignore you.

2. DON’T use GUILT to get a celebs attention.

Many followers tweet things like
” ______ notices everyone but me:(
I’m going to cry myself to sleep now.”
Or “I guess I’m not good enough to get a reply from _____

This isn’t kind– Celebs don’t have to have Twitter. We are lucky that most do. Kid actors go to school on set for 3 hours a day, work on their show, do promo work like interviews and go to events. Many also go to classes to keep up skills like dance or karate. They might only have an hour or two left for family and friends. Imagine how they feel when they read these kinds of tweets after they have tried to reply to many fans.

3. DON’T threaten SUICIDE, fake your birthday an illness or death in the family!

This is a new disturbing trend!!
It’s very upsetting and it usually backfires when people are exposed. A child star helped out a girl with cystic fibrosis. He got her followers and let her come to the set of his show. All of a sudden many people tweeted this star claiming to have CF. It is easy to spot someone who is lying. (that might be a whole new blog)
An article came out about a certain teen star upset by a fan’s suicide and that quickly became a trend. Many fans all of a sudden began tweeting that they were being bullied and wanted to kill themselves. When they got attention, mentions and followers they were fine again. Again, it isn’t hard to find the fakers. Go back in their timeline and you’ll sometimes see a pattern of trying go get attention and getting frustrated then suddenly — they are being bullied — even though there is no mention before that day.

4 DON’T use HATE to get a celebs attention.
A certain celeb is all about being positive and has tweeted haters with things like, “Let’s keep it positive!”
Many people have figured that any attention is good. Hate is never good.
Most celebs will block haters! Also, with kid stars, parents or managers may be monitoring their Twitter accounts. These people will simply block you and the celeb won’t even see your tweet.

1 DO tweet messages of SUPPORT

Let the celeb know how they inspire you and give an example
“_______ you taught me how to take risks because you went skydiving even when you were scared”

2 DO keep a CLEAN timeline

Before a celeb follows someone they usually go back a few days in their timeline. You may have squeaky clean tweets to the celeb but have hate, mean or cuss words in your timeline. This can be a problem.

3 DO your HOMEWORK (on the celeb)

Does your fav celeb have a song coming out? A new movie? A charity they support?
Include specific info in your tweet !!

“________ I can’t wait for your song _____ To be on I Tunes! I’ll be awake at midnight to buy it!! ”
If you can post a pic to prove you bought it or say lyrics to show you listened to the song!!

4. RT your face celeb

Many celebs check how many RT’s they get and will notice supporters who are always there for them!!

5. DO tweet when your fav celeb is ON!

If a celeb sends out a tweet they often check their timeline and will answer questions, thank you for your support or just surprise fans with a hi!!

I hope you liked this and it helps you !!
