Zendaya is on the east coast with concerts scheduled in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

She took some time off from her busy rehearsal schedule to stop by Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Jersey!

Here’s some info and pics from the hospital’s Facebook page!

Today was an unforgettable day for the children at PSE&G Children’s Specialized Hospital. Patients, and their families, were given a once in a lifetime chance to meet Zendaya, star of Disney Channel’s TV show ‘Shake It Up’ and the youngest contestant and runner up of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. As an ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Zendaya was thrilled to be able to visit PSE&G Children’s Specialized Hospital, a member of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals network and the largest pediatric rehabilitation center in New Jersey treating kids with special needs.

During her visit, Zendaya was able to sign autographs, take pictures and sing with the patients and families. This was a great experience for both the children and Zendaya. She enjoys putting smiles on their faces during her time off in between concerts.

All of the children were excited to meet Zendaya and have their own little private concert with the super star. It was a wonderful and fun day to be a patient at PSE&G Children’s Specialized Hospital.

Children’s Specialized Hospital is the largest provider of pediatric rehabilitation services in the county. With 12 locations in New Jersey, the hospital serves more than 22,000 children a year, including children affected by brain injury, spinal cord injury, premature birth, autism, developmental delays, and other life-changing illnesses.
