Lego Movie Promotions

The Lego Movie will finally be “assembling” in theaters on February 7, 2014. The movie will be a full length American-Australian computer-animated adventure comedy film. It is directed and co-written by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, and stars the voices of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Charlie Day, Liam Neeson, and Morgan Freeman. The film is based on the Lego line of construction toys.

There are several promotions that have been popping up on social media so I wanted to put them here in one place.

Two theater chains are offering different mini-figures!

Check it out:

AMC theaters are giving away a cyber boy with the purchase if a ticket.
I love his shirt and headphones.
You can always change the head and hands and have a unique mini figure.

Regal Cinemas is offering a pyjama Emmet. Emmet is the “ordinary guy” who is asked to save the world.

Regal LA located at LA Live will have special activities in the lobby of the theater on February 8. There will be balloons, face painting, a photo booth, a prize wheel and other fun Lego related activities.

The Arclight theaters in Hollywood and Sherman Oaks are having a contest where 6 winners will be able to take home one of the 3 huge figures from the 2 lobbies. This means that 6 people will win.

Here’s info from their FaceBook Page

ArcLight Cinemas
If you haven’t heard, we’re finally giving away The LEGO Movie statues from Hollywood and Sherman Oaks! Until February 10th, head to either Hollywood or Sherman Oaks and snap a picture of a statue. Post it on our Facebook wall, use either ‪#‎ArcLightHollywood‬ or ‪#‎ArcLightShermanOaks‬ to tag the location, and ‪#‎ArcLightLEGOs‬ to enter the contest. On Facebook, we’ll be giving away the BATMAN and WYLDSTYLE statues, but there are more chances to win on Twitter and Instagram!

For detailed instructions and to learn more:

The red carpet premiere will be at the Regency Theater in West Hollywood. There are several contests to win passes to the premiere. Just Search on the Internet. Beware of buying “tickets” to the premiere. They are likely passes someone got from a website that does NOT guarantee seating and doesn’t allow fans in or near the red carpet. Some companies have “first come, first serve” tickets to premieres to ensure the theater is full.

Not surprising, Legoland and Legoland Hotel in Carlsbad, CA are having contests and deals on staying at the hotel and visiting the park.
There will be a special Lego Movie Experience that will open in the park on February 20th!

I hope this blog helps Lego fans enjoy the movie even more!

I’m a huge Lego fan and my mom has a Lego Club at her school where special education and regular education come together and build with bricks and build relationships!
