Check out this announcement about Big Time Rush coming to Australia this September.
US boy band Big Time Rush are heading Down Under for the very first time to headline Nickelodeon’s second annual ‘SLIMEFEST’ in September!
With their huge teen following, BTR are sure to drum up some excitement in the lead up to ‘SLIMEFEST,’ with band member Kendall Schmidt revealing it’s “about time” the boys headed to our shores.
“I was so excited when I found out that we were travelling to Australia to headline ‘SLIMEFEST,’ I actually jumped up and down,” he exclaimed.
“I think it’s about time, after four years of Big Time Rush, that we finally come out to see our Aussie Rushers. You guys better be ready to have a good time because we’re ready to put on a great show.”
Adding to the excitement, Australia’s homegrown favourite Guy Sebastian will also be performing – and having already made his ‘SLIMEFEST’ debut last year, he’s stoked to be a part of the event’s second sliming.
“I had a great time at ‘SLIMEFEST’ last year, the crowd were insane (not to mention slimy!) and it was a great experience performing alongside my buddy Carmen Smith,” said the star.
“I can’t wait to be a part of this year’s show, I have a feeling it’s going to be even bigger and greener than last year.”
‘SLIMEFEST’ will take place on September 27 and is made up of two shows (11am and 6pm) at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre.
The complete line up of performers and celebrity special guests involved in ‘SLIMEFEST’ will be announced in the coming weeks and pre-sale tickets for both the 11am and 6pm shows will be available at 12 noon on Monday June 17 via Ticketek using the codeword ‘Nick.’
