End Malaria Now Event 11/21/11
On 11/21/11 We attended a charity event benefitting End Malaria Now.
It was at Cafe Entourage in Hollywood.
8 year old Madison Moellers who co-starred on CBS’ ‘Rules of Engagement’ and hit it off with the series stars, David Spade, Patrick Warburton, and Sara Rue, and Patrick Warburton co hosted the event!
Madison Moellers had seen the feature film, ‘The First Grader,’ and learned that an astounding number of people dying from Malaria each year, largely pregnant mothers, and children under 5 years old.
Malaria is a disease that kills but can be prevented by providing families with $10 nets to be put around beds as people sleep protecting them from being bitten by mosquito who carry the disease!
Celebrities including Rowan Blanchard, Kenton Duty, and Leon Thomas lll and other caring people came out, walked the red carpet and enjoyed refreshments.
I hope a lot of Monet was raised and a lot of lives will be saved! I’m proud that I helped.
