Greyson Chance performs at Battle of the Bands at Downtown Disney January 21, 2012

On JANUARY 21, 2012 the Top Eight Teen Bands in U.S. will Battle for National Title and More Than $50,000 in Cash & Prizes at SchoolJam USA; Teen Pop Star Greyson Chance to Emcee Live Competition at Downtown Disney District

Professionals in the industry will be judging the bands!

There will also be an Exclusive performance of new single by season 7 “American Idol” contestant Shaun Barrowes

The event is free but it may get crowded. No tickets are needed. The press release says the event is at the ESPN Zone but I’m sure it will be outside.

Here is the schedule:

5 p.m. – Live competition/performances begin

8 p.m. – Live performance by Greyson Chance

9 p.m. – Runners-up award presentation and announcement of “Best Teen Band in the USA”

Sounds like a fun day! You can park at Downtown Disney for free for up to 4 hours.
