Cody Simpson performs and helps Teens For Jeans Launch in Hollywood

On January 10, Cody Simpson performed at the DoSomething.org and Aeropostale launch the fifth-annual ‘Teens for Jeans’ campaign on Tuesday, along with a ton of celebrities.

Cody Simpson, Booboo Stewart, Josie Loren, Kirsten Bell, Sasha Pieterse, Brendan Robinson and more also attended the star-studded event at Palifest in West Hollywood, Calif., collecting jeans for a local L.A. homeless shelter. The stars also included letters, photos and videos with words of encouragement.

Guests were encouraged to pack donated jeans, write letters to teens and record words of encouragement.

Snacks and refreshments were served and guests received specially designed T-Shirts.

Cody sang 2 songs to the small crowd. He sang Angel then Ay yi yi. Then the crowd sang Happy Birthday to him since his birthday was the next day.

Cody’s parents Brad and Angie, sister, Alli, brother, Tom and friend, Jake were there as well. It was fun seeing Cody in a relaxed environment and I think it’s cool that this busy super star donated his time to help homeless teens at this worthy charity!

Teens are encouraged to donate jeans to donate to homeless youth. Top schools can win prizes.

Wow ! Singer Cody Simpson has a busy week!
He’ll be at 3 events in 3 days!

Today Tuesday, December 6, he will be at Popstar Magazines 12 stars to watch in 2012 event at City Walk LA in Universal City, CA.
Fans can watch stars arrive and walk the red carpet. The party is private.

Tomorrow, he will perform and help announce the winner of Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing. This event is free and open to the public it will happen at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, CA
Several special guests are expected! The list of guests includes Debby Ryan, Bella Thorne, Zendaya and Madison Pettis. No meet and greets were announced so you might just get a glimpse if these talented stars!
The Two Finalists are Zack Montana and Shealeigh. Who do you hope wins?

Salvation Army is having a Free Concert at Universal City Walk in Los Angeles!

For the second year in a row, The Salvation Army is hosting a Christmas concert at Universal City Walk. The event will be a two-hour concert of young up-and-coming talent aimed at a pre-teen and teen audience, urging their fans and all in attendance to support the Red Kettle at Christmas Time. It will be broadcast live as a free-to-view event for all those unable to attend.

Guests include Honor Society, Colbie Callat, Hanson, Cody Simpson, and Greyson Chance. Mario Lopez will be hosting this event! More musical guests will be announced soon!

Location: Universal City Walk- 1000 Universal Studios Boulevard, Universal City, CA 91608

Go early and dress warmly! It’s an outdoor area and there aren’t seats. Whoever gets there first gets the best spots!! Its a great venue with a huge tree and a Rockin Santa!!

Cody Simpson Performs at City Walk’s tree lighting ceremony

On November 22, 2011, Cody Simpson performed at City Walk’s annual tree lighting ceremony. Jimmy Bennett also performed as did many other talented people. Santa was also there taking pics with kids. The United States Marines were also there collecting toys for kids.

We got in time to see Cody come out and do a sound check. He looked so cute in a red sweater. Alli was being so sweet with fans taking pics and talking with them. Ryan Beatty, Brandon Russell and Jimmy Bennett were also hanging out and fans had a great time chatting and hanging out with them!

This was a red carpet event and it was fun to see and meet so many cool people.

Leon Thomas and Christian Fortune were up there just enjoying the City Walk shops, restaurants and special attractions. They stopped and posed for pics.

I saw lots of my friends up there. After the concert, we bowled at Jillians.

Cody. Simpson surprise Concert CityWalk LA

On 11/21 Cody Simpson announced on his Twitter that he’ll be having a free concert at CityWalk LA in Universal City on 11/22!! Joining him will be Jasmine V and Jimmy Bennett.

Cody Simpson just performed at the Tanger Outlets on the East Coast on 11/19.

The concert is at the newly completed 5 Towers outdoor stage. Parking is $10-$12 dollars but there is a drop off spot, a tram to take people up the hill, and public transportation. A Metrolink station is nearby!

The show starts at 6 and will be taped by Hallmark Channel and played at a later date.

A cool thing about concerts in LA is that most performers have famous friends… And most of those friends live in LA … And want to support their friend by showing up to their concerts… So instead of seeing one star, you might …. Well, you know!!

Cody was born 1/11/97 in Gold Coast, Australia. He is well known as a singer but he is also an award winning swimmer. He has a sister named Alli and a little brother named Tom. He is signed to Atlantic records and you can hear his songs on many radio stations including Radio Disney and KIISFM 102.7.
Just like Justin Bieber, Cody’s career began when he started posting his songs on You Tube. The first song he recorded s a professional artist was Iyiyiyi featuring Flor Ida.
Since then he had had a lot of hit songs such as All Day and On My Mind. He sang a cover of I Want Candy and that was on the Hop Soundtrack.

In the spring of 2011, Cody went on tour with Greyson Chance. Shane Harper joined them on the tour. The concert was called Waiting4U tour. The last stop was in Australia. We saw Cody’s show at the House of Blues in LA. It was so fun because many celebs came out to support Cody, Greyson and Shane.

We also saw Cody and Alli at Ashley Argota’s 18th birthday party in LA. and at the Mars Needs Moms premiere , the Teen Choice Awards and a launch for Pastry Shoes. The two are very sweet and enjoy meeting their fans! Cody also performed at Wango Tango at the Staples Center In May 2011.

On May 11, 2011, Cody Simpson, Greyson Chance and Shane Harper all had a concert at the House of Blues LA. Concerts in LA are awesome because a lot of performers have friends who are actors, performers, etc and THEY come out to support their friend!!
The kids from the Good Luck Charlie cast came out to support Shane. So did Samantha Boscarino. Isn’t that sweet?? They also came out to support Shane when he headlined at the Roxy!!
