I’ve been lucky enough to be able to meet a lot of celebrities. Sometimes, I meet a celebrity early in their careers. I’ve met Kat McNamera at many events and she is beautiful and super sweet.If you haven’t seen her on TV or the big screen yet, you will soon!
Kat (Katherine), is from Kansas City Missouri. She began acting at 13 on Broadway. She starred with Catherine Zeta Jones, Angela Lansbury and Bernadette Peters. She was cast as Lily in New Year’s Eve and taped a Disney pilot called Madison High. This comedy was a spin off of High School Musical and also starred Mark Indelicato and G Hannelius. So far, this pilot didn’t get picked up.
Kat will play Becky Thatcher in a remake of Tom Sawyer. Her co-stars in this movie are Jake T Austin and Joel Courtney. Noah Munck has a small part in this film as well.
Recently, Kat appeared on an episode of Disney XD’s Kickin It. She has also been filming Girl vs Monster in Canada. This Disney Channel Original Movie also stars Olivia Holt and Brendan Meyer. This movie will premiere in October of 2012.
At 14, Kat has already graduated high school. She is working on a degree in Business from an on-line program. She loves all types of dance and is working on recording songs.
Kat loves her fans who she calls ‘Kit Kats’.

Her last name is actually spelled McNamara. I think it’s cool that she graduated high school when she was 14!
