UPDATE 6/12/12 according to Caley’s mom Taylor’s management said Taylor ONLY meets fans with life threatening illnesses through Make-A-Wish and ONLY when she’s on tour.. Well, Caley already used her Wish on a trip to Disneyland when Drs thought she wouldn’t make it a few years ago.
Caley is VERY sick now! Should we tell her to choose a different idol? How do you tell a sick 10 yr old that her Idol’s management has too many rules and she probably won’t be able to meet her?
We HAVE to get the word out to Taylor!!
Or get Caley where she can meet Taylor!! Please, EVERYONE, get the word out!! Hopefully, someone close to Taylor can let her know about Caley .. Before it’s too late!

My friend Caley is 10 which means she’s older than me but she’s way smaller than me. Look at her little arms! Caley has a disease called Cystic Fibrosis. It’s a rare and often terminal disease! That means she might die soon!
She has to take over 40 pills a day to deal with all the effects of her CF.
She also needs daily breathing treatments that take hours to break up the mucous in her lungs and help her breath.
She also developed a form of diabetes related to the CF. So now she had to have finger pricks and insulin shots.
Her weight is so low that she has a feeding tube overnight.
She often gets admitted to the hospital and has to stay for weeks.
Her family was hopeful that Caley would be able to have a lung transplant someday. Sadly, they recently found out she is now so small and weak she wouldn’t survive surgery!
When Caley was a little younger the doctors thought she wouldn’t make it much longer and she was able to “Make-A-Wish”. Her wish at that time was to go to Disneyland with her family.
Well, she pulled through but now she’s very sick again. Her lung function is at 43%. She doesn’t have much time left. Her little body has just worked too hard for too long!
Through all these treatments and hospital visits, Caley still smiles. She’s a brave little girl!
She makes bracelets and attends events to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis!
Caley has some pretty cool friends who happen to be Disney Stars. She knows the Shake it Up cast and Kenton Duty loves her very much. Here she is at an event!
The picture shows all the bracelets Caley made and donated to the celebs who came to the event. She also made about 100 others she donated to less fortunate kids!

Her parents and friends want to make sure her final wish comes true! Caley has wanted to meet Taylor Swift for years. She knows all of her songs and has read her book. She owns every Taylor Swift item possible, CDs, DVD’s,
Posters, dolls, and books.
We need help to get Caley’s story to Taylor and her people. We’ve tried Tweeting her, using a Twition, and asking The Ellen Show to help.
Whoever does help Caley meet Taylor in any small way will be part of a miracle. You will be helping grant a sick girl’s final wish.
Please share this with ANYONE you think can help. Someone reading this knows someone who knows Taylor.. maybe her hairdresser, dry cleaner, manager or publicist!
I’m sure if Taylor knew about Caley, she would do anything possible to meet her. Caley might be too sick to travel, so we need to get Taylor to LA.
Ok guys .. Let’s ALL share Caley’s story anyway possible and hope and pray that Taylor learns about Caley SOON!!!
